ABOUT THE CHAMBER

Barbara Kennar
Barbara Woodifield, President

I would like to thank our outgoing President Belinda Charlton with whom I have enjoyed working with immensely. I  have benefited from her wealth of knowledge and expertise both as a Marketing Consultant and Councillor, and I hope I may still call on her support during my term in office.

I am extremely proud to have been elected and I hope that I can achieve some of the goals that will be presented to me on behalf of the Chamber.

Without making empty promises, I have set myself the task of completing two major objectives, firstly to set up a Marketing Strategy for Ringwood Traders in the High Street and Market Place, so that the High Street, Market Place and the Furlong compliment each other.

Secondly, I shall be taking up the gauntlet, in conjunction with our Tourism Group, for increased signage both in and out of the town, and highlighting our wealth of areas of interest and beauty, and to enhance the appearance when you arrive in Ringwood car park.

I am very much looking forward to this great challenge and look forward to representing your views and working with others to find a solution to the issues that will be brought to the attention of the Chamber.

Luckily I shall be ably assisted by our new and vibrant committee together with the unwavering support of our Secretary Fiona Clapp, without whom, many of the ideas and initiatives would not be completed.

Barbara Woodifield, President Ringwood Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
